Scientists made herbal medicine for the treatment of kidney stones:
Lucknow-based National Institute of Botanical Research (NBRI) has developed such herbal medicine uro-05, which will reduce the size of kidney and urinary tract stones and destroy them. Professor SK Barik, director of the institute, said that generally there are 18 to 20 types of formulations in allopathic and ayurvedic medicines, but this herbal medicine is made by mixing 5 accessible medicines. Because of this its cost is only Rs.6 per pill.
